Marianas Trench is a Canadian punk rock band. It is said that the band name comes from the deepest point in the world, the Mariana Trench.
The current members of the band are Josh Ramsay, Matt Webb, Mike Ayley and Ian Casselman. Their first album, Fix Me, was released in 2006, and included the hits "Say Anything", "Shake Tramp", and "Decided to Break it". Their most recent album, Masterpiece Theatre, was released in 2009. "Cross My Heart", "All To Myself" and "Beside You" are several hits from this album.
Their albums and songs have won them awards such as the SOCAN No.1 song award, MMVA Director of the Year and Western Canadian Music Awards Pop Recording of the Year.
