The Andy Murray fanlisting is now open.

As you can see I have revamped the collective a little bit. You can now find link buttons on the “website” page, and you can see my wishlist and KIM list.

In the meantime I am trying to resist applying for more fanlistings. I am adopting out a few, but please join the KIM list if you are interested in any of my fanlistings.

The Car Underwater fanlisting has moved, and has a new layout and fanlisting codes. I hated the old layout!

The God Loves A Challenge and Armor For Sleep fanlistings have also moved, and some icons have been added.

I’ve got a few fanlistings to make and one that I have adopted. It’s hard to resist, and I’m seriously thinking of dropping a few fanlistings I currently own. O_o

I applied for the fanlisting for the movie 9, and was approved. I made a blend for the header image because I wanted to include as many characters as possible in the layout! Visit the fanlisting by clicking on the button below:

Rebecca has also donated a huge amount of codes to the Peach fanlisting!

That’s about it—there’s a few more in store, and I’ve sent out application forms to adopt some fanlistings. I’ve got a load on my plate but I don’t think I can bear to drop any fanlistings. <3

I wanted to mention my fanlisting for the band God Loves A Challenge. I don’t have many fanlistings for bands so this is special for me.

I tried a different layout style for the Safari fanlisting. I absolutely adore Safari; I was shocked to find that there was no fanlisting for it when I applied.

This isn’t a very popular book series but I love it—the Quantocks Quartet. It’s beautiful.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Karla of Secret-Door.org for adopting the Kurt Cobain fanlisting to me. I am so happy about it, and as I love Nirvana and Kurt (and Krist and Dave!) I am very glad that I now own it.

I’m going to hit the big 50 soon in terms of fanlisting numbers. I really like all my fanlistings so there isn’t really a possibility that any of them will be going away, but feel free to email me at georgie (at) heartdrops.org [replace (at) with @] if you’d like to be kept in mind.

But that said, I won’t reveal what’s coming until they do.

I applied for the silver jewellery fanlisting when I saw that it was open—I hope I get that one too.

The one I just finished, for Nirvana’s song Rape Me.

I really like how the fanlisting matches the other Nirvana fanlistings of mine! Thanks to my best friend Lilian who decided the image should be on the right of the layout. If I have another Nirvana-related fanlisting, it’ll be on the left. ;)

The owner of the Kurt Cobain fanlisting was adopting it out. I sent her an email; fingers crossed I get accepted to adopt it.

I decided to let go of the fanlisting for the second Artemis Fowl book. I don’t like it as much as the series as a whole, and I just don’t feel like making it, so I’ve sent in a closed form for it, even though I haven’t started on it at all.

I was only approved for the fanlisting yesterday but after spotting that image, I felt excited to create the fanlisting, not to mention with significantly different styling and layout width! Sticking with the old 700px layouts got a tad boring.

I also spent a bit more time on the codes—can you tell they look nicer?

I’ve been working on the James Morrison album fanlistings—I couldn’t resist grabbing a new domain for them, and that is Lovestrings.org. I’ve started work on it already and I’m opting for a different style as well. The Undiscovered one isn’t looking as nice as the Songs For You, Truths For Me one, though…

You might not be able to see the domain straight away but I have opened two fanlistings under it. One for the song The Crimson and the other for the song A Song For The Optimists.

I also need to move the Right Side Of The Bed fanlisting but I think I’ll wait a week or so until I do.

A few fanlistings are on the way. These include two James Morrison albums, a fanlisting for the Australian author Bryce Courtenay, and a fanlisting for bangles.

If you noticed, I took the CSS of this layout from my Godspeed fanlisting. If you remember, that was the first fanlisting I edited the fonts of the CSS for. I’d always been using Arial and the same block navigation before that.

I was going to make a funky layout, but this one turned out to be more of a “pretty” one. I didn’t plan the colours out, but it reminds me of my first layout at Heartdrops—pink and green.

The reason I’m proud of this layout is the brushes. I actually drew them myself on paper, scanned them in, did some editing and made them into brushes. I’m actually going to scan in a lot of my drawings and create them into brush sets, hopefully make them available on Heartdrops anyway.

I also opened the fanlisting for The Game. Ahhhh. I just lost…

One for the song All Apologies by Nirvana, and the other for Lithium, also by Nirvana.

I’m a bit disappointed that I wasn’t paying attention to the TFL updates and missed out on applying for the Nirvana fanlisting (I think it had been troubled). The fanlisting now has a new owner, Rinku, who I noticed joined my fanlisting for Krist Novoselic. Congratulations to Rinku for opening the amazing Nirvana fanlisting.

Here’s hoping the Smashing Pumpkins fanlisting will be removed (the site doesn’t seem to exist) because I’d love to apply for it. :3

I was approved to create the fanlistings for the two James Morrison albums Undiscovered and Songs For You, Truths For Me.

I’m not really liking this layout. It’s funky, but for me it doesn’t do the job. Makes it look unloved; I don’t know.

Now, if you don’t know what the game is, basically, there are three rules to the game. The objective is not to think about the game, or you lose.

Everyone is playing The Game. And if you think about the game, you lose. When you lose, you must tell at least one person that you lost.

Along with a fanlisting for The Game, I also have two fanlistings to create for the songs All Apologies and Lithium by Nirvana.

So keep on looking out. I’ll have to get to the fanlistings once I finish my essays or at least get some done, but they will be up before they are due, of course.

I know the layout needs some tweaking, particularly the CSS. This was quite literally a ten-minute job. I was up for something less grey.

I actually applied for the fanlisting for the webcomic xkcd at xkcd.com. I really, really hope I get approved, because I have a domain name in mind for that, and it’s absolutely fantastic.

I’m proud to own the Godspeed fanlisting. I’m in love with the quote “They lied when they said the good die young”.

As you might have noticed, I also changed the CSS a fair bit on those layouts, and I think they really suit. I’ve just been keeping the same boring CSS for my layouts, so jazzing it up a bit with serif fonts was a nice thing to do; I’m especially proud of the Godspeed fanlisting layout.
